We are already surprised by the daily AI inventions and now ChatGPT claims to have its video feature soon.

The news came directly from the reinstated OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, who recently had a meeting with Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates on his Unconfuse Me Podcast.

These two tech leaders discussed the future of ChatGPT and the upcoming GPT-5 update. According to Altman, GPT-5 will revolutionize as a fully multimodal model, offering support for speech, image, code, and video. This means there will be a significant expansion in the capabilities of ChatGPT, allowing it to process and generate content in various forms beyond text.

One of the most interesting bits of news from this podcast is the abovementioned video capabilities, on top of the GPT-5 release confirmation. We all use the current version of ChatGPT that supports images and audio but now as they decided to bring the video feature, there will be a massive expansion in revolution.

This new invention of video analysis capabilities in ChatGPT opens up more possibilities for enhanced reliability and context-aware Chatbots. However, this new application raises concerns about potential misuse, especially regarding privacy.

When is the GPT-5 coming out?

“People can expect GPT-5 to drop out anytime this year”, says Altman.

Altman said that he is trying his best to push ChatGPT’s facilities more and more. This rapid pace of advancement in AI, including ChatGPT’s potential video capabilities, is speculated to have contributed to Altman’s removal as OpenAI’s CEO. Concerns were raised about the ethical challenges and the broad consequences of such technologies prompted the nonprofit board of directors to take action.

Sam Altman, in this latest meeting with Gates, mentioned that the current interaction with ChatGPT can be the least useful version. With the upcoming GPT-5, Altman aims for improved reasoning and better reliability, addressing issues like the model’s occasional generation of confusing statements. The main goal of Sam Altman is to make ChatGPT more accurate and full of knowledge about users and their data, potentially raising privacy concerns.
