We are just a day away from Apple’s biggest Glowtime event on Monday 9 September. As the Apple 16 launch is in line, there is a big reveal of the Apple Watch Series 10 and the AirPods 4. This upcoming Apple Watch Series 10 will introduce an updated heart rate and ECG sensor. This will enable new health features including sleep apnea detection.

Health Features on Apple Smart Watch Series 10:

Some sources familiar with Apple’s plans told 9to5Mac that the upcoming Apple Watch Series 10 has updated ECG to a more advanced and capable of delivering correct results. There is also another feature that is sleep apnea detention a long-rumored feature that Apple has been working on for a long will finally be available in the new smartwatch.

People might be confused about Sleep apnea, it’s a disorder that causes breathing difficulty during sleep. Now this upcoming Apple Watch Series 10 will help the person to identify when and how long a user has this sleep apnea based on the tracking feature. Users have to wear this watch while sleeping for days before getting to know about sleep apnea diagnosis.

Apart from this Apple is changing how the health data will be processed after being collected by these sensors. For instance, using the new algorithm in the Health app on the iPhone to look for atrial fibrillation, rather than looking at the Apple Watch itself.

But one thing is still unclear whether the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is coming with the same improvements are not.

New Watch Faces and Larger Screen:

There is another good thing about this upcoming model is that this new Apple Watch Series model will be bigger and has a higher resolution than the 41mm Apple Watch but slightly lower than the 45mm Apple Watch. For the upcoming new larger model the resolution is similar to that of the 49mm Apple Watch Ultra. So, this new series 10 will be available in both 44mm and 48mm sizes.

With that, there comes a new watch face “Reflections” a watch face reacts to ambient light. An upcoming new Hermes watch face “Regatta” was created with the sailing sports competition of the same name and helps users to easily start the timer right from it.

An Improved Water Resistance:

This new model will have improved water resistance than the old Apple Watch Series 9. That has a water resistance rating of 50 meters and is not recommended for activities like scuba diving. But this new can be submerged up to 100 meters deep and can be used for high-speed water sports up to 40 meters deep.

Apple Watch Series 10 will be certified for High-speed water sports up to 20 meters deep so that it will get Apple’s Depth app, currently exclusive to Apple Watch Ultra.

With all these new upcoming advancements, the Apple Watch Series 10 is expected to have a slimmer design. But it is also noticed that the Apple Watch Ultra 3 will have the same design as the old one. With this new model, Apple will be unveiling the next generation Apple Watch SE during its Glowtime event.
