This new update will roll out on May 15, 2024, and some smart Google Photos features like Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Portrait Light will be available to everyone. Now everyone can get this feature on various devices including iOS, Pixel tablets, and Androids.

This latest update about the free use of certain features like Magic Eraser helps users to remove unwanted elements from photos seamlessly. Photo Unblur sharpens blurry images, enhancing photo quality instantly, while Portrait Light adjusts lighting to improve photo appearances. These tools were previously available to Pixel devices or available through a Google One subscription, and will now be accessible to all Google Photos users.

Additionally, Google has introduced the Magic Editor, an upcoming advanced tool that allows even beginners to make professional-level editing of their photos. Last year, Google announced this feature on Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. With this feature, a user can edit complex photos with simple and intuitive actions including repositioning objects within photos and altering colors and backgrounds without any technical skills. But now this Magic Editors is extended to all users.

Moreover, all Google Photos users on Android and iOS will get 10 Magic Editor saves per month and further use requires a pixel device or a Google One subscription plan.
