OpenAI finally launched its GPT Store, allowing users to promote their custom GPTs.
OpenAI’s custom GPT Store is now live on 10 January 2024, welcoming user-created bots for its customers. This launch comes after a little delay from its initial November target. The platform enables individuals who have created their Chabots to share them with the public.
OpenAI reports that users have already generated 3 million customized versions of GPTs. The platform will showcase popular and trending GPTs weekly, across categories like DALL-E, writing research, programming, education, and lifestyle. Currently, the GPT Store is limited to ChatGPT users with paid subscriptions only.
In the GPT Store, users can find various GPTs, such as
- A coding tutor from Khan Academy.
- An AI literature guide.
- Learning science and math anywhere, anytime with the CK-12 Flexi AI tutor.
- Get your favorite read from Books.
- A creative writing coach powered by ChatGPT.
Not just this, companies like WebPilot, Canva, and VEED have also presented their GPTs.
Moreover, Open AI has introduced a new ChatGPT plan designed for smaller businesses, known as ChatGPT Team. This service is available to teams of all sizes, allowing GPTs to be securely deployed within workplaces.
How to include your GPT in the store?
Now, building your own GPT is so simple that it does not require any coding skills and if anyone would like to share a GPT in the store, all they need is:
- Users can save their GPT for Everyone as Anyone with a link will not be shown in the store.
- Verify the Builder profile while visiting Settings to Builder profile to Enable your Name or a verified Website.
To make sure that your GPT is compliant, please review the latest Usage policies and GPT brand guidelines. There is another review system given by the experts for the extra safety measures including both human and automated review. Moreover, Users can also be able to report GPTs.
So, now everyone can build their custom Chatbots and share them with people without any hassle.
